Soundtrack: Red Right Hand - Nick Cave
Lava was the surface. This sits underneath.
Deeper now. Red that doesn’t wait. Black dragged across it, slipping into heat. Where the powder breaks, clay shows. Brown. Open.
Fire doesn’t ask. In the kiln it takes what it wants. The surface gives, here and there. Scars. Soft collapses. Nothing corrected.
Still, it held.
Thrown. Built. Left to it. What came back: red carrying most of it, black pulled through, raw clay breaking through where it couldn’t keep up. Gold, too — not added, just what stayed after.
The lid turns inward. The rope is gone. Only the movement remains.
Closer to the center, it loosens. Starts to drift.
